aver scoperto il segreto del codice genetico umano? Questa scoperta 

renderebbe l’uomo immortale, permettendogli di eliminare qualunque 

tipo di malattia e di allontanare per sempre lo spettro della morte...

Questi sconvolgenti presupposti sviluppano dunque il nuovo lavoro 

dei Vision Divine, “The perfect machine”, che si rivela, dal punto 

di vista lirico, come un concept ancora più interessante di quello 

sviluppato nel precedente “Stream of consciousness”. Durante l’ascolto del disco ci troviamo davanti
una band che ha raggiunto una certa maturità artistica: ormai il power metal degli esordi è 

stato quasi completamente abbandonato, salvo sporadiche 

accelerazioni che fanno capolino in alcuni dei nove brani presenti 

sul dischetto; i Vision Divine puntano la propria attenzione su riff 

tipicamente heavy metal a volte al limite del thrash, il tutto 

condito sapientemente dalle tastiere di Oleg Smirnoff che donano a 

tutte le canzoni una venatura dal sapore a volte prog e a volte 

vicina all’hard rock melodico caro agli Europe.
